Google, Thank you for the opportunity to have my own Blog that I can take my time with and not feel like it is being Judged for this, that, or the other. You have grown very fast and taken the Internet by storm. Good for you. You have very high standards and that is good. I would not want to be affiliated with an internet entity who did not have those high standards and had the fortitude to see it through.
I do not know much about Blogging or publishing anything on the net so this is where I start which, as Julie Andrews said in "The Sound Of Music" is a very good place to start. This was a great movie; one of my all-time favorites. We saw the "VonTrapp Singers" while in Toul, France in the early 1960's but I have not been able to find it here in the states. Julie Andrews played a superb role in the movie. She is my favorite actress.
The name of my website is because we are full-time RV'ers in a 2000 40' Country Coach, living room/galley slide with a Splendide washer and dryer combo. The other two of this troupe are two Chinese Senior pugs: Otis (13) and Ashley (10). We have been on the road since December, 2006; leaving Packwood, WA as winter was getting into full swing.
Being on the road in luxury is a lot of fun; it is trying at times-especially moving days when we pull up stakes, crank up the diesel, hook up the Toyota Tacoma Pickup and head down the road to the next stop. We have met friends from all over the country who are also on the road full-time and who we meet again from time-to-time in different places.
There are many different experiences; many different scenes. Different sunrises and different sunsets.
Looking at the stars at night when Otis and Ashley go out for their bedtime pee call. That is a wonderful time as the air is cooler and it is quiet.
There are many stories prior to all of this which will be posted in due time. I am finding writing this blog to be very therapeutic.
